Nathan Kongthum

Senior Director of Development

Nathan Kongthum is a seasoned fundraising professional with nearly two decades of experience advancing mission-driven organizations through strategic philanthropy. His expertise spans major gifts, annual giving, foundation relations, and donor engagement, with a strong track record of securing transformative support from individuals, corporations, and private foundations.

Throughout his career, Nathan has combined data-informed strategy with compelling storytelling to connect donors to meaningful impact. He has contributed to the advancement efforts of organizations such as Habitat for Humanity International and Advocates for Children. Most recently, he served at Columbia Theological Seminary, where he helped shape fundraising strategy and deepen donor engagement in support of theological education and leadership development.

Nathan lives in Sandy Springs with his wife, Susan, and they recently celebrated 15 years of marriage. Outside of work, he enjoys playing the drums and singing karaoke, bringing the same energy and enthusiasm to the stage as he does to his fundraising efforts.
