Gregory W. Niemer, M.D., is a board-certified rheumatologist and physician leader with extensive experience in patient care, clinical research, and healthcare practice management. He earned his bachelor’s degree in microbiology from Clemson University before receiving his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina, where he completed his residency in internal medicine and fellowship in rheumatology. Throughout his career, Dr. Niemer has participated in numerous clinical research studies, serving as a principal investigator for major trials, and has contributed to published medical research. He is the physician owner of Low Country Rheumatology and a leader within Articularis Healthcare Group, bringing a strong commitment to advancing high-quality patient care, clinical research, and innovation in rheumatology.
